Latest Ontario-OINP Draw Sent 2,349 PR Invitations, a Record

On May 8, 2,349 Express Entry profiles were directly invited by the OINP (Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programme), commonly known as the Ontario Provincial Nominee Programme.

This surpasses the previous record of 1,863 set in the OINP HCP Draw on May 5, 2023, as the most invitations ever sent in a single OINP draw.

The Ontario PNP quota increase for 2023 is the main cause of the rise in invitations.

Invitations are currently being distributed to Express Entry profiles created in the Human Capital Priorities (HCP) stream between May 8, 2022, and May 8, 2023 as of yesterday.

Additionally, invitations are sent to Express Entry profiles with CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) scores in the 42 below-mentioned healthcare-related jobs ranging from 427 to 482.

The lower range of the CRS cut off score decreases by 42 points from the prior HCP healthcare focused draw on March 8, 2023.

In six HCP stream drawings since the start of 2023, OINP has invited 7,751 Express Entry profiles.

OINP regularly evaluates the Express Entry pool. Additionally, submit direct provincial nominations to profiles with NOC codes for high-demand occupations.

Selected profiles receive 600 points for being nominated provincially.
